Pio Cesare Barbera d'Alba 2021 - 0.75l
Our Barbera d'Alba DOC, made with 100% Barbera grapes, comes from our family's vineyards in different areas of the Alba region. These vineyards extend across Serralunga d'Alba (Colombaro) and Monforte d'Alba (Mosconi) in the Barolo region, Treiso (Bongiovanni) in the Barbaresco region, Sinio (Val di Croce and Bricco dello Stornello) and Diano d' Alba (Carzello).
Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks with maceration on the skins for about 20-25 days.
The wine then matures for 12 months in French oak barrels and partly in barriques.
Our Barbera grapes from the Barolo and Barbaresco areas give our Barbera d'Alba exclusive characteristics such as full structure, fleshiness, complexity, suppleness, aromas of very ripe fruits, spices and a long shelf life.
