Barolo 2018 - Roberto Sarotto - Weingaumen.com
Description

Roberto Sarotto Barolo 2020 - 0.75l

Roberto Sarotto's Barolo is a prime example of the artistry and skill of Italian winemakers. The production of this outstanding wine begins in late September to early October, when the Nebbiolo grapes are carefully harvested by hand. In the following 2-3 days, the grapes are cold macerated to extract the fullness of their fruity aromas. After this phase, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks for ten days. The young wine then rests in the same tank for two months and is then moved to large American oak barrels to age for 24 months. Before this fine wine is finally bottled, it is given an additional rest period of six months in a stainless steel tank.

In the Piedmontese wine world, Barolo from Sarotto is considered a true icon. Made from the best Nebbiolo grapes, this wine has the reputation of being "the king of wines and the wine of kings". It not only stands for tradition and history, but is also a feast for the senses. With its deep garnet red color and orange reflections, it captivates the viewer. Its bouquet is intense, ethereal and characteristic and promises what the palate later confirms: a full-bodied, dry taste that is at the same time rich, soft and balanced.

It's not just the taste that impresses, but also the feeling of warmth and elegance that it leaves you with when you enjoy it. A wine for special occasions and festive moments. Roberto Sarotto's Barolo develops its full potential especially with roasts and game dishes and is therefore the ideal companion for culinary highlights. A real masterpiece from Piedmont!

Roberto Sarotto
