San Marzano Negroamaro F 2021 - 0.75l
The "Negroamaro F 2021" from San Marzano has its roots in small plots of rocky limestone soils where the vines thrive. The special nature of the soil and careful care of the vines result in a very low yield. To ensure the quality of the grapes, the harvest is done by hand. This special wine is aged in both French and Caucasian oak for 12 months. The result is a black-red wine whose complexity is particularly reflected in its nose. Aromas of ripe black berries, cherry jam, thyme and cocoa unfold and create a unique taste experience. On the palate, the “Negroamaro F” is dense and full-bodied. The silky tannin rounds off the taste profile and leads to a very long, aromatic finish. This wine is the ideal accompaniment to strong meat dishes such as lamb, game and beef, but also to a hearty Pecorino cheese.
The quality and special character of the "Negroamaro F" have also been recognized internationally. The 2013 vintage was honored with a gold medal at MUNDUS Vini 2016. Luca Maroni named the wine “Best Red Wine in Italy” in 2017, and the Berlin Wine Trophy also awarded it a gold medal in 2016. A truly impressive testament to his excellence.
