Description
The Senior from Niepoort is a cuvée from different vintages. Young and older port wines result in a port wine that is more than 7 years old and is stored in small French oak barrels, giving it a light brick red that is typical of the not very young Tawny. On the palate it is elegant and velvety with a varied play of aromas, which it achieves through the young and riper wines.
Goes well with: desserts, aged cheeses, nuts. Slightly chilled, it is also ideal as an aperitif. The Senior Port can be stored for many years and can be stored for several months even when opened.
