Description

Roberto Sarotto Gavi 2023 - 0.75l

Roberto Sarotto's Gavi is an expression of elegance and freshness that captures the typical characteristics of the region's terroir. The grapes for this special wine are carefully harvested in the second half of September to ensure they are at their peak. After the harvest, the healthy grapes are immediately pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. After this phase, the wine spends two months in tanks to consolidate its aromas. However, before being released for consumption, the wine is aged in the bottle for an additional two months to develop its complexity and structure.

In the glass, the Gavi presents itself in a wonderful straw yellow, interspersed with green reflections that emphasize its youth and freshness. Its bouquet is seductive and diverse: delicate citrus aromas mix with the scent of honeydew melon and peach. There are also subtle nutty nuances, the depth of the orange zest aroma and the delicacy of the floral notes.

On the palate, the Gavi shows itself at its best: it is soft, but still enlivened by its tangy freshness, which delights the palate. The finish is juicy and balanced, leaving an impression of purity and clarity.

This wine is not only a pleasure on its own, but also an excellent accompaniment to various dishes. It can develop its flavors best, especially with antipasti or light fish dishes, and complement the meal wonderfully. A real gem from Roberto Sarotto!

Roberto Sarotto
