Amber port wine!
20 Years White Port- no vintage- 0.75l- Kopke
Color: Bright amber color with a golden rim.
Nose: appealing and complex aromas of dried fruits, with notes of figs, walnuts and roasted almonds, delicate hints of candied orange peel and a touch of spices.
Palate: elegant and balanced, revealing character and firm but supple tannins. A particularly rich and long-lasting finish.
Matching: Served chilled, it is an elegant aperitif. Wonderful with rich starters such as goose liver, vol-au-vent, scallop gratin or mushroom risotto. Because it is remarkably fresh despite its age, it is ideal with a crème brulée, a crispy crepe with vanilla sauce or a spicy apple crumble. Goes perfectly with blue cheese, such as Stilton. It's just as delicious on its own.
