Bodegas Lopez Oria (Pola)

Bodegas Lopez Oria, bekannt unter dem Namen Pola, befindet sich in Laguardia, im Herzen der Rioja Alavesa, direkt unterhalb der Sierra Cantabria. Dieses kleine familiengeführte Weingut wird seit vier Generationen von der Familie López Oria geführt. Ursprünglich von Ángel López gegründet, widmet sich das Weingut seitdem dem Weinbau und der Weinproduktion, wobei traditionelle Weinherstellungsmethoden gepflegt werden.

Die Weinberge erstrecken sich über etwa 20 Hektar, auf denen hauptsächlich die Rebsorten Tempranillo und Viura angebaut werden. Bodegas Lopez Oria ist besonders für seine Verwendung der Carbonic Maceration bekannt, eine Methode, die den Weinen eine besondere Frische und Fruchtigkeit verleiht. Diese Technik steht im Einklang mit modernen Produktionsmethoden, die das Weingut ebenfalls nutzt, um die Qualität seiner Weine zu sichern und weiter zu verbessern.
