The Conde Villar Alvarinho 2022 from Quinta das Arcas is the product of hand-picked grapes from vines that produce low yields. A short maceration takes place on the mash, followed by pre-clarification by flotation. The wine is then fermented at a controlled temperature. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine undergoes weekly batonnage stirring for a month, giving it a more complex and creamy mouthfeel through yeast autolysis. After resting in the bottle for at least two months, it is released onto the market. It has a very clear color with slight hay reflections. Its bouquet is rich and full, characterized by elegant floral notes. Scents of lemon and orange tree blossoms combine with more tropical aromas. In terms of taste, it impresses with its rich structure, combined with a full, yet creamy body. Its finish is nice and long-lasting. It is a pleasure as a summer aperitif and goes well with fish, poultry, salads, Asian and Mediterranean dishes or even tapas.
