Elio Filippino

Das Weingut Elio Filippino, gelegen in der malerischen Gemeinde Neive, einem UNESCO-Welterbeort nahe Alba, wird seit den frühen 1900er Jahren von der Familie Filippino bewirtschaftet. Heute leitet Elio Filippino als dritte Generation das Weingut, das für seine engagierte Weinproduktion und den Respekt vor der Natur bekannt ist.

Die Weine von Elio Filippino zeichnen sich durch die sorgfältige Handarbeit in den steilen Weinbergen aus, die sich auf über 350 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel befinden. Das Weingut setzt auf die traditionelle Guyot-Schnittmethode, was zu einer geringeren Traubenproduktion, aber höherer Qualität führt. Besonders bekannt ist das Weingut für seine Barbaresco und Barolo Weine, die aus den erlesensten Trauben hergestellt werden.

Die Philosophie des Weinguts basiert darauf, die einzigartigen Eigenschaften der einheimischen Rebsorten und des Terroirs zu respektieren und hervorzuheben. Dies spiegelt sich in ihren sorgfältig hergestellten Weinen wider, die regelmäßig hohe Anerkennung finden.
