WEIN SÄT POESIE IN DIE HERZEN.
Dante – mit vollem Namen Dante Alighieri – ist Italiens berühmtester Dichter und Philosoph. Er lebte von 1265 bis 1321 und hat mit seiner Göttlichen Komödie eines der bedeutendsten Werke der Weltliteratur geschaffen. Das eindrucksvolle Kapitel, in dem sich Dante mit dem Paradies auseinandersetzt, ist auf einem Landgut entstanden, das inmitten der paradiesischen Weinberge liegt, aus denen unsere Neuzugänge stammen. Und das ist alles andere als ein Zufall! Dantes Sohn Pietro war von dem norditalienischen Besitztum im Herzen der klassischen Valpolicella-Region derart angetan, dass er es 1353 kaufte und seiner Familie damit ein Erbe in den Schoß legte, das sie seit über 20 Generationen liebevoll hegt und pflegt. Bis heute ist die Familie des Grafen Serègo Alighieri in allererster Linie dem Weinbau verpflichtet. Ihre Weinberge liegen ausnahmslos in den Cru-Lagen des Valpolicella, und das Rebgut wird im eigenen Keller verarbeitet.
