The Taylor's 10 Year Old Tawny is an outstanding example of the mature Tawny style. This style of port wine is aged entirely in seasoned oak barrels, each of which holds approximately 630 liters of wine. Here, over many years of maturation, the wine gradually takes on its characteristic amber "tawny" color and slowly develops the complex, mild aromas and supple, lush palate that are the hallmarks of a Tawny Port.
Taylor's blends its magnificent 10-year-old Tawny from its extensive reserves of aged cask ports aged in the cool and quiet cellars (known as "lodges") in Oporto on Portugal's Atlantic coast.

Tasting Notes:
Deep brick red color with an amber edge. Rich and elegant on the nose, it combines aromas of ripe berries with a delicate nuttiness and subtle, mild notes of chocolate, caramel and fine oak. Smooth and silky on the palate, full of ripe, sweet fig flavors that continue into the long finish.
